Dietrich L.

Dietrich L. has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career. Dietrich started their work experience in 2007 as a Radio Frequency Transmission Systems Technician and later worked as a Satellite, Wideband, & Telemetry Systems Technician in the United States Air Force until 2012. From 2012 to 2016, they worked as a Senior Network and Systems Administrator at the Joint Communications Unit. In 2016, Dietrich joined the United States Air Force again as an Expeditionary Cyber Transmission Systems Supervisor until 2017. During this time, they supervised and provided training for technicians responsible for combat aircraft radar picture. In 2017, Dietrich became a Pilot at the Air National Guard, a role that they currently hold. Additionally, in the same year, they started working at American Equity. At American Equity, Dietrich has held multiple roles, including Manager Network Engineering and currently serves as the Manager Network Engineering. Some of their responsibilities in this role include the planning, designing, implementation, and administration of security platforms, managing Aruba wireless deployment, monitoring systems with Solarwinds integration, and coordinating with Internet Service Providers for network maintenance.

Dietrich L. began their education in 2006 at the Community College of the Air Force, where they obtained an Associates degree in Electronic Systems Technology. Dietrich then pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Industrial Technology at East Carolina University from 2012 to 2015. Dietrich further expanded their knowledge by obtaining a Master of Science (M.S.) in Network Technology from the same university, completing their studies between 2015 and 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Dietrich has acquired several certifications to enhance their expertise. These certifications include Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert and Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals obtained from Microsoft in February 2022 and July 2021 respectively. Other certifications earned include CISSP (obtained in September 2014), Security+ and Network+ from CompTIA (obtained in November 2012 and September 2012 respectively), CCNA Route and Switch, CCNP Route and Switch, Cisco Certified Networking Professional - Enterprise, Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Advanced Infrastructure Implementation, and Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Core, all obtained from Cisco.
