Dinesh Pillai

Dinesh Pillai is an experienced technology leader currently serving as the Director of Engineering at American Express since April 2022. Previously, Dinesh held the position of Head of Reliability Engineering & DevOps at Meijer from February 2016 to April 2022. Prior to that, Dinesh worked as a Senior Enterprise Architect at Ford Motor Company, where architectural responsibilities included significant projects such as Ford Global Asset Management and Ford Racing. Dinesh’s career also includes a role as Software Engineering Manager at Covisint Corporation, focusing on healthcare DevOps and identity management solutions, and technical project management at bp. Dinesh began as a Software Engineer Technical Lead at BP while working with Mahindra Satyam, overseeing various projects in the oil and gas sector. Dinesh holds a Master of Science in Software Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from Mahatma Gandhi University.
