Scott Cinnamond

Scott Cinnamond is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and architectural roles across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer for American Express since March 2015, Scott specializes in Big Data Platform Architecture, with a notable project, ZincDB, focused on a distributed multi-model SQL database. Previous roles include consultancy positions with Early Warning® as a Hadoop Architect and the U.S. Forest Service as a Senior Application Architect. Additional experience includes senior architectural positions with the U.S. Army, Department of Homeland Security, and various software engineering roles at multiple organizations. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from California Polytechnic University Humboldt, completed in 1992.
