Brian Bourdages is an experienced land protection and conservation professional with a strong background in agriculture and natural resources. Currently serving as Land Protection Project Manager at American Farmland Trust since February 2020, Brian has held various roles focused on policy development and program management for farmland preservation. Previous positions include Special Projects Manager at Tamarack Holdings, where Brian established the Institute for Sustainable Foraging, and Farmland Program Manager at Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy. Their extensive experience also encompasses serving as Land Protection Specialist at Leelanau Conservancy and Director of Technical Assistance at Colorado Youth Corps Association. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Philosophy from Western Michigan University.
