Caro Roszell

Caro Roszell is an experienced professional in soil health and organic farming, currently serving as the New England Soil Health Program Manager and Soil Health Specialist at the American Farmland Trust since March 2021. With a long-standing commitment to sustainable agriculture, Caro has worked with NOFA/Mass since December 2013 in various leadership roles, including Director of Education and Soil Carbon Technical Advisor. Previous experience includes managing a biointensive no-till market garden as the Owner-Operator at New Wendell Farm, serving as Assistant Manager at Simple Gifts Farm, and participating as an Organic Farm Management Apprentice at Brookfield Farm. Caro's background also features roles in community gardening and environmental education, with significant contributions to various organizations promoting sustainable practices and community engagement. Caro holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies and Philosophy from Bard College and completed coursework at Harvard Extension School.
