Sarah Heller

Sarah Heller is an experienced professional in conservation and research, currently serving as the Conservation Partnership Project Manager and Farm Conservation Planner at American Farmland Trust since January 2020. In this role, Sarah collaborates with the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service to provide technical assistance to farmers and landowners for conserving and improving natural resources. Prior to this, Sarah worked as a Biological Science Technician at USDA-APHIS, where responsibilities included laboratory management and data organization. Academic experience includes a Master of Science in Entomology from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Stonehill College, complemented by research and teaching roles that focused on pollination studies and the effects of pesticides. Additionally, Sarah's internships at Mystic Aquarium and Beardsley Zoo highlight a commitment to animal care and environmental research.
