Dawn Simmons

Dawn Simmons, MBA, PHR, currently serves as Vice President of People and Culture at the American Forest Foundation, a position held since November 2017, after previously acting as Senior Director of Human Resources. Prior experience includes serving as Head of Human Resources for the Americas and HR Business Partner for the Schools Division at The International Baccalaureate from April 2014 to August 2017, where Dawn provided strategic HR guidance across various global locations. Prior roles also include Human Resources VP/Director at Seamon Corporation from November 2011 to February 2014 and Senior Director of Human Resources at Ciena Corporation from August 1997 to November 2011, with extensive expertise in global HR practices across multiple regions. Dawn holds a BS in Human Resources from Notre Dame of Maryland University and an MBA in Business Administration and Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
