Katie Anderson

Katie Anderson is a recent graduate of the University of Richmond, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Anthropology. Currently serving as an AGS Scholar Intern at the American Geographical Society, Katie's previous experience includes managing usher staff and ensuring smooth operations at events as the Associate Student House Manager at the Modlin Center for the Arts. Katie has also worked as a Spatial Analysis Lab Intern at the University of Richmond and contributed to NASA-funded projects focusing on deforestation in the Amazon rainforest. Additional roles include Student Admissions Representative and Expedition Guide, showcasing strong communication skills and a commitment to enhancing visitor experiences. Educational experiences include a study abroad program with the School for International Training.
