From 1994 to 1997, Pete Dinh worked as a Senior Analyst at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, where they prepared pitch materials, drafted prospectuses, and assisted on investor roadshows. Pete also created financial models, provided fairness opinions, and conducted valuations for corporate sales. At WR Hambrecht + Co, from 1999 to 2000, Dinh worked as an Associate, executing investment banking assignments and evaluating principal venture investments. In 2000, they became a Senior Associate at ABN AMRO, where they coordinated North American Software and Services investment banking efforts. From 2002 to 2005, as a Vice President at JMP Group LLC, Dinh was responsible for new business origination and deal execution in the Enterprise Software sector. Pete then became a Principal at Frazier Co. from 2006 to 2010, leading the execution of leveraged buy-out investments. From 2010 to 2011, Dinh served as a CFO & Corporate Development Consultant, providing transaction services and acting as an interim CFO for new investors. At Ackrell Capital, LLC from 2011 to 2014, they held the role of Chief Operating Officer & Partner, overseeing compliance, negotiating contracts, managing IT investments, and providing transaction support. Since December 2014, Dinh has been Chief Financial Officer at American Giant, where they lead finance, accounting, and administrative activities and oversees financing efforts and investments.
Pete Dinh completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics and Political Science from Stanford University, where they studied from 1990 to 1994. Pete further pursued their education at the UCLA Anderson School of Management, earning an MBA degree with a focus on Strategy & Finance. Pete Dinh attended UCLA from 1997 to 1999.
