Lisa Jensen Tienken

Lisa Jensen Tienken has over 30 years of experience in retail management and product development. Currently serving as the General Manager of Retail at American Girl since November 2001, Lisa provides leadership to a large staff and is accountable for P&L, achieving annual sales, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences at a flagship store. Prior to this role, Lisa was the Director of Retail at Montgomery Ward & Co Inc from 1997 to 2001, where significant achievements included launching multiple private-label lines. Earlier, as a Merchandise Manager at Spiegel from 1990 to 1997, Lisa developed successful merchandising strategies for women's catalogs and managed sales for children's divisions. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Merchandising and Marketing Operations from the Fashion Institute of Technology and has additional education from Northeastern University.
