Mecole Vaughn

Mecole Vaughn is an experienced professional in healthcare management and sales, currently serving as the Director of Sales and Customer Relations at American Health Communities since September 2019. In this role, Mecole leads Business Development teams for skilled nursing facilities and geri-psych hospitals in Tennessee and North Alabama, while also providing training in sales and marketing. Previously, Mecole held positions as Administrator for skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities, including The Place at Martinez from May 2015 to August 2019, and served as an Executive Pharmaceutical Sales representative at AstraZeneca for over a decade. Early in the career, Mecole worked with State Farm in various roles related to finance and public affairs. Academic qualifications include a Health Care Management Certification, a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration, and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, all obtained from Middle Tennessee State University.
