Olivia Shamy

Olivia Shamy currently serves as the Manager of Political Strategy and Federal Affairs at the American Hotel & Lodging Association since February 2023, previously holding the position of Government Affairs Coordinator in the same organization. Concurrently, Olivia is a Yoga Sculpt Instructor at CorePower Yoga, starting in May 2024. Prior experience includes roles such as Client Strategy Analyst at Targeted Victory, Government Affairs Intern at GuidePost Strategies, Server/Bartender at RJ Bentley's, and Legal Assistant at The Shamy Law Firm. Olivia gained valuable legal experience as a Summer Intern at the New Jersey Attorney General's Office and has been involved in customer service roles since 2015, notably at Kohrs Original Frozen Custard. Educationally, Olivia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Politics, as well as Dance from the University of Maryland.
