Julio Alonso Dvm

Julio Alonso DVM is a dedicated veterinarian with extensive experience in community medicine and animal care. Currently serving as a Certified Animal Representative at American Humane since June 2014, Julio has previously worked as a veterinarian at both Bond Vet and the ASPCA, demonstrating a commitment to animal welfare and medical practice. Julio's career began as a Veterinary Assistant at VetZoo veterinary clinic, and formal education includes a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Arts in General Sciences from the Universidad de Puerto Rico. Additionally, Julio possesses a strong musical background, having completed a Special Chords Program at Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music.
