Blanca Hernández is a seasoned professional in immigration policy and legal advocacy, currently serving as a Policy and Practice Associate at the American Immigration Lawyers Association since October 2018. In this role, Blanca leads committees in developing practice resources and government liaison meeting agendas while ensuring strategic alignment with AILA's priorities. Prior experience includes roles as Liaison Coordinator, LOPC Paralegal at Catholic Charities, and Immigration Paralegal at The International Business Law Firm, PC. Blanca has contributed to various organizations, including serving on the Board of Directors for MANY LANGUAGES ONE VOICE and co-founding the Bay Area DREAM Act Coalition. Educational background includes a B.A. in Chicana/o Studies from the University of California, Davis, and an A.A. from Diablo Valley College.
