Karen Morse is an experienced outdoor educator and emergency medical technician currently serving as a Line EMT at Adventure Medics since August 2024. Also active as an instructor for the American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education and NOLS Wilderness Medicine, Karen has a diverse skill set in outdoor activities, including swiftwater rescue and packrafting instruction at the Swiftwater Safety Institute. Karen's previous roles include outdoor instructor positions at Chadwick School and Crossroads School for Arts & Sciences, along with activities management at Schweitzer. Serving as a river instructor for Colorado Outward Bound School, Karen led rafting trips and supervised wilderness expeditions with Northwest Outward Bound School for a decade, where responsibilities included teaching technical outdoor skills. Karen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication & Media Studies and Comparative Literary & Cultural Studies from Franklin University Switzerland.
