Audrey Altieri

Audrey Altieri's work experience begins with their role as a Researcher at American Institutes for Research, starting in December 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Figure Skating Instructor at Center Ice Sports Complex since April 2008.

Audrey also held various positions at the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, including Education Consultant from December 2020 to October 2022, and Education Program Specialist / Policy & Research Liaison from October 2019 to December 2020.

Audrey pursued their MPP in Education Policy at Vanderbilt University from August 2019 to May 2021. Additionally, they served as an Education Consultant (Student) at the Center for Public Research and Leadership from September 2020 to December 2020, and as a Graduate Research Intern at the Cleveland Transformation Alliance from June 2020 to September 2020.

Prior to these roles, Audrey worked as a High School Mathematics Teacher at Jackson Local School District from August 2015 to May 2019, and as an Assistant Music Director for After School Programs during the same period. Audrey also served as a Middle School Educator at Jackson Memorial Middle School from June 2015 to June 2017, and as a High School Mathematics Teacher at Franklin Heights High School from June 2014 to June 2015.

Audrey's work experience began while they were a student at Miami University, where they worked as a Resident Assistant from August 2012 to May 2013, assisting students with personal, social, and academic concerns. During their time at Miami University, they also held the role of Student from August 2010 to May 2014.

Audrey Altieri has a diverse education history. Audrey started their academic journey in 2006 at Jackson High School where they completed their high school education. Following that, they attended Miami University from 2010 to 2014, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Integrated Mathematics Education.

Continuing their passion for mathematics education, Audrey went on to pursue a Master of Arts degree in Teaching Mathematics from Miami University, which they completed from 2015 to 2017. This further deepened their knowledge and skills in the field.

In 2019, Audrey decided to expand their expertise beyond mathematics education and enrolled at Vanderbilt University. From 2019 to 2021, they undertook a Master of Public Policy (MPP) degree with a specialization in Education Policy. This allowed their to delve into the broader aspects of education and policy-making. Additionally, in 2020 and 2021, Audrey had the opportunity to enhance their knowledge in education consulting as a Graduate Fellow/Visiting Scholar at Columbia University's Center for Public Research and Leadership (CPRL).

To supplement their educational qualifications, Audrey obtained a certification in Professional Education: Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from Miami University in June 2022. These additional certifications demonstrate their commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive educational environment.

Overall, Audrey's educational journey showcases their passion for education and their dedication to expanding their knowledge and skills in various aspects of the field.
