Hannah E. Poteete has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Hannah E. is currently working as a Business Development Associate at the American Institutes for Research, where they help researchers secure funding for evidence-based research in the fields of Education, Health & Human Services, and International Development. Prior to this, they worked at the City of Dallas as a Grant Writer and also served as a Library Associate, partnering with the U. S. C. in their role. Hannah E. also gained experience as a Graduate Research Intern at the Center for International Policy, where they conducted research on Saudi Arabian lobbying and wrote OpEds on Foreign Influence. Additionally, they worked as a Community Engagement Intern at KERA and as a 7th Grade ELAR Teacher in the Dallas Independent School District, where they taught reading and writing skills to students while also initiating the school's first Student Council and hosting a weekly career-oriented club called "Women Wednesday."

Hannah E. Poteete, MPA, received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Elementary Education and Teaching from Birmingham-Southern College, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. Hannah E. further pursued their education and completed their Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from The University of Texas at Dallas, between 2016 and 2018.
