Iván Camacho has a diverse range of work experience. Iván is currently working as a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Analyst at the American Institutes for Research. In this role, they are responsible for developing and implementing MEL plans for international development cooperation projects with the government of Mexico, as well as conducting research on labor rights promotion in Mexico.
Prior to their current position, Iván was a Co-founder and CEO at República Agavera, a role they took on in November 2020. Before that, they worked as the Director of Audience Studies at INRA, Markets Research, S.C. from September 2018 to January 2022.
From September 2016 to August 2018, Iván served as the Director of External Relations at the Institute for Labour Training of Mexico City. Prior to that, they worked as a Private Secretary to the Vice Minister of Borough Programs at the Ministry of Government of Mexico City from September 2015 to September 2016.
Iván also has experience working at the Ministry of Labour and Employment Promotion of Mexico City, where they held roles such as Subdirector for Welfare and Social Security from August 2014 to September 2015 and Head of Departmental Management Unit for Labour and Social Welfare from March 2014 to August 2014.
Additionally, Iván worked as a Research Assistant at the General Archive of the Nation from 2010 to 2011. During this time, they conducted research on the processes of industrialization in several Latin American countries and presented a paper on industrial development at an international conference.
Before that, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Economic Research Institute of Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México from 2009 to 2010.
