Jack Butler

Jack Butler has a variety of work experience in different roles and organizations. Starting in 2016, they worked as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Brown University Department of Physics, where they supported Graduate TAs in instructing astronomical observation labs and conducted data processing sessions. In 2017, they became a Residential Counselor at Stanford University, guiding students through field trips and providing individual tutoring. Jack also served as a Supervisor at Brown University Dining Services during this time. In 2018, Jack worked as a Head Counselor at Stanford University, managing a team and coordinating with teachers and guardians. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Science Education Analyst at the National Science Foundation, where they developed process automations, maintained data repositories, and facilitated knowledge exchanges. Currently, starting in 2021, Jack works as a Data Scientist Assistant at the American Institutes for Research.

Jack Butler completed their education in a chronological manner. From 2007 to 2014, they attended St. Anselm's Abbey School and obtained their High School Diploma. Subsequently, they enrolled at Brown University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Astrophysics from 2014 to 2018.

Moreover, Jack has also obtained additional certifications. In May 2021, they received an edX Verified Certificate for Machine Learning with Python-From Linear Models to Deep Learning from edX. Prior to that, in November 2020, they earned another edX Verified Certificate for Probability - The Science of Uncertainty and Data, also from edX.
