Julee Newberger has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Julee began their career as a Communications Specialist at the National Association for the Education of Young Children in 1998 and later worked as the Managing Editor at The Benton Foundation's ConnectforKids.org. In 2003, they joined ICF International/Caliber Associates as a Senior Associate and Web Content Manager before moving on to the Annie E. Casey Foundation, where they served as a Senior Communications Associate for six years. Julee then worked as a Communications Consultant at DAI from 2011 to 2012. In the same year, they started their own business as a Writer and Strategic Communications Consultant. Since 2012, Julee has been associated with the American Institutes for Research, initially as a Senior Manager in Marketing and Outreach, then as the Director of Marketing and Outreach for Education. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Creative and Content Strategy and has recently taken on the additional role of Director of Marketing and Engagement.
Julee Newberger attended American University from 1992 to 1995, where they pursued a field of study in MFA Creative Writing & Literature. Prior to that, they had completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature at the University at Albany, SUNY.
