Maura Shramko has a diverse work experience in research roles. Maura is currently working as a Researcher at the American Institutes for Research since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at the University of Minnesota as a Researcher from August 2020 to June 2022 and as a Postdoctoral Fellow from September 2018 to August 2020. Maura also worked as a Graduate Research Associate at The University of Arizona from August 2015 to May 2018. Maura gained experience as a Research Associate at Search Institute from January 2013 to August 2015. Maura worked as a Program Evaluator at the State of Minnesota, Office of the Legislative Auditor from June 2012 to January 2013. Additionally, they served as an Evaluation Consultant at the Corcoran Neighborhood Organization from June 2012 to January 2013. Maura also worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota - Extension Center, Family Development, Research and Evaluation from September 2011 to June 2012 and at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs from September 2010 to May 2012.
Maura Shramko obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a minor in Hispanic Studies from Macalester College in the years 2002 to 2006. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Public Policy degree at the University of Minnesota from 2010 to 2012, specializing in Policy Analysis and Population Studies. Finally, they completed their educational journey by earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Human Development and Family Studies, General from the University of Arizona between 2015 and 2018.
