Sanka Perera

Sanka Perera began their work experience in 2006 as a Payroll Assistant at NBC Studios, where they gained experience in ensuring timely payroll submission and union compliance. From 2008 to 2010, they worked as a Production Accountant at NBCUniversal, Inc., managing budgets and capturing accurate costs for shows. Sanka then joined Management Sciences for Health in 2010 as a Finance and Management Associate, generating financial reports and assisting project directors with budget development. In 2012, Sanka joined the American Institutes for Research, starting as a Financial Analyst and later becoming a Senior Financial Analyst, where they worked on financial planning, monitoring, and client interface. From 2016 onwards, they held the role of Cognos Developer & Administrator, actively managing the business intelligence application and fulfilling reporting and data modeling needs. In April 2019, Sanka became an Onbase Administrator at American Institutes for Research.

Sanka Perera's education history begins with their attendance at Thomas A Edison Career And Technical High School from 1998 to 2001. During this time, they focused on Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications. Following this, Sanka Perera attended Baruch College from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a concentration in Finance. In addition to their formal education, Sanka Perera also earned additional certifications, including becoming an Onbase System Administrator from Hyland in September 2018 and completing SQL Essential Training from Lynda.com in September 2016.
