Rui Ma

Rui Ma joined AIHA in May 2018. She started at AIHA as Controller. In 2019, she was promoted to Acting Director of Finance, and in May 2020, to Director of Finance. Rui has extensive experience in finance and accounting including in management roles. She has managed the financial components of complex program portfolios with multiple sources of funding including the US Federal, State and Local Governments, Global 100 corporations and private foundations. She has led audit efforts and has consistently presided over clean audits.

Prior to joining AIHA, Mrs. Ma served as Controller for a leading national non-profit organization focused on the continuum of care and homeless services in the District of Columbia; previously she has also held positions with Bosch Group and UBS.

Rui holds a master’s degree in professional accounting.
