Ann Marcotte has extensive work experience in environmental management and project management. Ann currently serves as the Corporate Environmental Director at American Iron & Metal (AIM) since 2020. Previously, they held the role of Environmental Director/Project Manager/QA Manager at DELSAN-A.I.M. ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES INC. from 2009 onwards, where they managed major projects across Canada, handled corporate systems and documentation, and conducted environmental assessments. Prior to that, they worked as a Technical Sales Representative at Harvard Apparatus from 2007 to 2009 and as a Lab Assistant at FPInnovations in 2005.
Ann Marcotte completed their education at various institutions over the years. Ann began their educational journey in 1997 at Stanstead College. Ann then went on to attend the University of New Brunswick from 1999 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Biology. In 2001 and 2002, Ann studied at Université de Poitiers, focusing on Psychology and French. Later, from 2003 to 2005, they pursued a Master of Environment degree in Environment, Science, and Ecotoxicology at the Université de Sherbrooke. Lastly, in 2012 and 2013, Ann attended the McGill University School of Continuing Studies for a Comprehensive Project Management program.
