Tamara Kaplan

Tamara Kaplan is an experienced professional in strategic communications and writing, currently serving as the Writing Team Manager at JDC (The Joint) since May 2012, where roles have included Strategic Communications Specialist and Information Manager, Program Information and Systems Officer, and Account Manager and In-House Writer. Kaplan has a strong background in grant writing, having contributed to various proposals and reports, brochures, newsletters, and annual reports at JDC and previously as a Resource Development Coordinator at YEDID: The Association for Community Empowerment. Additional freelance experience includes writing for academic studies and non-profit organizations. Kaplan holds a Master of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Trent University.
