Sydney Gladwell

Sydney Gladwell is an experienced digital media educator currently serving as a Digital Media Teacher at American Leadership Academy since April 2023. Prior to this role, Sydney worked as a Photographer at WYFF 4 from June 2022 to March 2023. Additionally, Sydney gained valuable experience as a Research Assistant for the Department of Anthropology at Appalachian State University, where responsibilities included coordinating hands-on activities for ethnographic research from January 2022 to January 2023. Sydney's background also includes roles as a Broadcast News Anchor, Reporter, Writer, and Photographer for Appalachian State University's AppTV from December 2020 to January 2023, which involved anchoring, producing content, and managing media equipment. Sydney holds a degree in Communications Electronic Media/Broadcasting and Journalism from Appalachian State University, completed in May 2022.
