Larry Laws

Larry Laws, Sr., MBA, is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in leadership and community service. As the Founder and President of First Home Alliance since August 2002, Larry oversees operations and strategy for a HUD-approved housing counseling agency, collaborating with various governmental and community organizations. In addition, Larry serves as the Commander of American Legion Post 114, advocating for veterans and youth programs. Larry contributes to the Veterans Association of Real Estate Professionals as a Board Member and participates in the Homeownership Advisory Council for Virginia Housing. Larry holds an MBA from Troy University and a BS in Business and Management from the University of Maryland. In June 2023, Larry became a bestselling co-author of "The Heart Of A Black Man," which features inspiring stories of resilience. A retired U.S. Army career advisor, Larry managed assignments and retirement affairs for over 1700 telecommunications supervisors during a distinguished military career.
