Alberto Fernandez Mora

Alberto Fernandez Mora is an experienced boatbuilder with a diverse background in composite materials and marine construction. Currently serving as a boatbuilder and shore crew member for American Magic since April 2023, Alberto has previously held positions at Alcaliber S.A. as a production operator, and at various companies specializing in boatbuilding such as Wilmar Composites S.L., Longitud Cero Composites, and King Marine, where Alberto contributed to high-profile projects including the AC75 boats for the 36th America's Cup and the TP52 series. From 2014 to 2018, Alberto worked at Premier Composite Technologies in Dubai, focusing on carbon fiber boat construction, and gained extensive production experience at Future Fibres Rigging Systems, supporting notable sailing events like the Volvo Ocean Race. Early career experience includes working at Airbus as a carbon fiber laminator for aircraft components.
