Joel Gort

Joel Gort is an experienced engineering manager with a diverse background in hotel maintenance and management. Currently serving as the Manager of Engineering at Sonesta Hotels since October 2018, along with holding the position of Director of Engineering at Pinnacle Property Management Services since December 2017, Joel has also worked as an Engineering Supervisor at Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants since April 2016. Prior roles include Mechanic Engineer III at Eden Roc Resort Miami Beach, Chief Engineer at Pinnacle/AMS, and various engineering and maintenance positions. Joel possesses expertise in managing major repairs, training staff, overseeing property budgets, and ensuring the proper operation of essential hotel equipment, with a certification in pool operation management obtained in 2017.
