Joseph Benavente Jr.

Joseph Benavente Jr. possesses extensive experience in marine engineering, currently serving as a Prime Power Maintainer at TDX Global Solutions, LLC since February 2021. With a career that began in March 2000, Joseph has held roles including Third Engineer with American Maritime Officers and Qualified Man Engine Department (QMED) with Seafarers International Union of North America, where responsibilities included maintaining power generation and performing preventive and corrective maintenance. Joseph also worked with Ocean Shipholdings Inc. to ensure plant operations during 12-hour shifts. Educational qualifications include multiple marine engineering certificates from the Harry Lundeburg School of Seamanship and additional maritime certificates from the AMO Star Center and Star Center.
