Girish Byrappa

Girish Byrappa has a strong background in quality control and management. Girish started their career in 2010 as a Quality Assurance Intern at Johnson Electric. In this role, they gained valuable experience in quality assurance processes.

In 2011, Girish joined American Metal Technologies, LLC as a Quality Engineer. Girish was responsible for launching automated feedback of daily scrap rates and collaborating with suppliers to decrease casting defects. Girish also inspected materials and processes to identify corrective actions and implemented quality control measures.

After four years as a Quality Engineer, Girish was promoted to the role of Quality Control Manager in 2015. In this position, they oversaw cross-functional teams and managed a multi-million dollar budget to streamline quality control operations and meet objectives. Girish was recognized by management for sourcing components from international suppliers while reducing costs and ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Currently, Girish Byrappa serves as the Director of Quality and MP&L at American Metal Technologies. Girish started in this role in October 2022 and is responsible for overseeing quality and MP&L operations, ensuring efficient processes, and maintaining high quality standards.

From 2008 to 2011, Girish Byrappa pursued a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at Wright State University.
