Bernard Gerwel

Bernard Gerwel is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the insurance and technology sectors. Currently serving as SVP and Chief Innovation Officer at American National since May 2019, Bernard also holds the position of SVP and Corporate Digital Officer, where responsibilities include coordinating enterprise digital strategy to enhance the digital client experience and chairing key councils focused on innovation and data management. Prior to these roles, Bernard served in various leadership capacities at ANPAC from 2000 to November 2007, including SVP and Chief Administration Officer. Bernard holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis and completed the CLF program in Leadership and Management at The American College of Financial Services from 2008 to 2010.
