John Kelly

John Kelly has extensive work experience in the field of nuclear energy. John started their career at Sandia National Laboratories in 1980, where they worked as a Senior Manager for 30 years. In 2010, they joined the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) as the Chief Technology Officer and Deputy Assistant Secretary. John held these roles until 2018 when they became a Senior Nuclear Energy Consultant at an undisclosed company. In 2017, they also served as the President of the American Nuclear Society. In 2020, they worked as a Consultant for a company called N/A.

John Kelly attended the University of Michigan from 1972 to 1976, where they earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering. John then went on to pursue further education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1976 to 1980, obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in the field of Nuclear Engineering.
