Mike Doherty

Mike Doherty has extensive work experience in the packaging industry. Mike started their career in 1981 at Hercules, Inc. as a Process/Project Engineer, where they focused on optimizing costs and performance for extruders and blown film lines. Mike then transitioned to a Technical Sales Representative role, serving the Mid-Atlantic to Southeastern U.S. market for Oriented Polypropylene (OPP) film. In 1989, they were promoted to Sr. Technical Sales Representative. In 1993, they joined Sealright Packaging as an Account Manager, and was later promoted to the position of Sales Director - Food West, responsible for managing a network of Account Managers and Brokers. In 2000, they joined American Packaging Corporation as a National Accounts Manager, and eventually became the National Sales Director, overseeing sales revenue growth and customer support efforts for key customers. Most recently, they have taken on the role of Director of Business Development Sales - Pet Care Market at American Packaging Corporation.

Mike Doherty obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Delaware between the years 1977 and 1981.
