Ruth Elliott Bates

Ruth Elliott Bates has an extensive work experience starting in 1994 at Stanford University as an Assistant to Provost Condoleezza Rice, a role they held until 2000. Ruth then worked at The White House from 2001 to 2005 as a Special Assistant for Scheduling and Advance, the National Security Council. Following that, they joined the U.S. Department of State as Deputy Chief of Staff from 2005 to 2009. Finally, they joined American Paper & Twine Co. in 2009 and held various positions including Corporate Buyer, Inventory Planning Manager, and ultimately Director of Marketing.

Ruth Elliott Bates received their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics from Stanford University, where they attended from 1994 to 1998. Later on, they pursued further education and completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Vanderbilt University - Owen Graduate School of Management, studying there from 2015 to 2017.
