Kathryn Kaufmann Wiesmann

Kathryn Kaufmann Wiesmann currently serves as the Virginia Chapter Coordinator for the American Parkinson Disease Association since September 2022, after holding roles such as Outreach Specialist at Senior Services of Southeastern Virginia and Outreach Coordinator at St. Joseph's/Candler. Experience includes managing support group programming for Movement Disorders, developing community events with Keep America Beautiful, and leading the "Bridging the Gap" initiative for Bulloch County Beloved Community. Educational background consists of a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Muhlenberg College and a Master of Public Health in Community Health from Georgia Southern University, complemented by various internships and graduate assistantships focused on public health, community outreach, and event planning.
