Jeff Lewandowski

Jeff Lewandowski has a diverse work experience in the publishing industry. Jeff started in 2006 at IOP Publishing, where they held various roles including Managing Editor and Publisher. During their time at IOP Publishing, they managed a team, developed new products, and built publishing partnerships. In 2015, they joined Baseball Prospectus as a member of the Ownership Group. In 2016, they took on roles at CHORUS/CHOR Inc. and the Society for Scholarly Publishing, where they chaired committees and worked on community engagement. In 2018, they became Associate Publisher at the American Physical Society (APS Physics), where they focused on open access publishing and revenue generation. Jeff later became the Acting Publisher and eventually moved into their current role as Director of Publishing, overseeing the growth and sustainability of the Physical Review journals. Overall, they have extensive experience in publishing strategy, sales, marketing, and leadership.

Jeff Lewandowski completed their Bachelor of Science degree, with a major in Biology and a minor in Mathematics, at the University of Richmond from 1995 to 1999. Later, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Cell Biology & Molecular Genetics at the University of Maryland, completing it in 2004.
