Laura H. Greene

Laura H. Greene has a diverse work experience in the field of physics. Laura H. held the role of Marie Krafft Professor of Physics at Florida State University and also served as the Chief Scientist at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory. Additionally, they were a Francis Eppes Professor of Physics at Florida State University and a Past-President of the American Physical Society. Laura H. served on the Board of Directors at AAAS and held the position of Associate Director at Brookhaven National Laboratory. Prior to these positions, they held various professorship roles at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and worked as a Member of Technical Staff at Bellcore.

Laura H. Greene's education history begins in 1967 when they attended Cleveland Heights High School and obtained their High School Diploma in Music. Following this, they attended The Ohio State University from 1970 to 1977, where they earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science degree in Physics. Subsequently, they pursued further education at Cornell University from 1977 to 1984, where they obtained a Master of Science and a Ph.D. degree in Physics.
