Laura Thorson Salinas

Laura Thorson Salinas is a Senior Vice President of Underwriting and Credit at American Portfolio Mortgage Corporation. Laura has a strong background in underwriting and credit, having previously worked at Morgan Stanley as a Residential Mortgage Securitized Credit Specialist and at The Collingwood Group, LLC as a Senior Consultant. Laura also served as a V.P. of Mortgage Operations and Underwriting at American Mortgage Equity and Consultants, Inc, where Laura obtained FHA Direct Endorsement Delegation. Their experience includes supervising and leading underwriting departments, providing training, and ensuring quality and consistency in underwriting practices.
