Nichole Ridgeway

Director, Library Marketing at American Psychological Association

Nichole Ridgeway has a diverse work experience in the publishing industry. Nichole started their career as a Communications and Marketing Coordinator at the American Gastroenterological Association from July 2006 to January 2008. Nichole then joined the American Society for Microbiology as a Marketing Manager from January 2008 to February 2016. In this role, they developed and directed marketing, sales, and communications strategies, managed institutional subscription sales, and oversaw a sales team.

After that, Nichole worked as a Consulting Associate at Kaufman Wills Fusting & Company from April 2017 to October 2017. Nichole provided expertise in publications sales, marketing strategy, vendor management, branding, and financial analysis to help clients grow their publishing programs.

Currently, Nichole is the Director of Library Marketing at the American Psychological Association, starting in May 2018. Nichole'sresponsibilities include understanding the needs of academic librarians and educators, developing go-to-market strategies, and executing demand generation and customer retention campaigns to drive sales and engagement with APA Publishing's subscription products.

Nichole Ridgeway, MBA, completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication at the University of Maryland in 2005. Nichole then pursued their Master of Business Administration degree at The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School from 2010 to 2012.
