Jean Taylor

Jean Taylor is the current President & CEO at American Public Media Group. Prior to this, they were an Executive Consultant and Family Business Advisor at Platinum Group from April 2021 to August 2021. In this role, they increased shareholder value for family businesses and other privately held companies through advisory, transition, and turnaround services.

Throughout their career, Jean has helped business owners overcome common challenges such as developing and executing strategies where technology or customer needs have changed, creating high performing boards, and re-invigorating organizational culture to drive high performance. Her personal specialties include business assessment and advice, business strategy, digital transformation, and acquisitions.

Jean has a reputation for integrity that comes from years of guiding business owners through change and new opportunities. Jean is passionate about fractional and interim leadership work, building teams, and coaching leaders to achieve high performance.

Jean Taylor graduated from Mankato East Senior High School. Jean then attended Augsburg University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management. After working for several years, they decided to return to school and earned an MBA in Management Support Systems from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management.
