Paul Zummo has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Paul began their career as an Intern at the U.S. House of Representatives in August 2001. From July 2003 to June 2005, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Campaign Finance Institute. In 2005, Paul joined the American Public Power Association (APPA). At APPA, they initially served as the Manager of Policy Research and Analysis, where they conducted research on various industry issues and analyzed trends and statistics. Currently, they hold the position of Director, Research and Development, overseeing the organization's research activities.
Paul Zummo earned their Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and History from Emory University, where they studied from 1995 to 1999. Following this, they pursued further education at The Catholic University of America from 2001 to 2009, obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Politics.
