Scott Corwin

Scott Corwin is a seasoned leader in the public power sector, currently serving as President and CEO of the American Public Power Association since August 2023. Prior to this role, Scott was the Executive Director of the Northwest Public Power Association from May 2019 to August 2023, overseeing a not-for-profit association that supports consumer-owned utilities in the Western states and Canada. Scott's extensive experience includes leadership positions at the Public Power Council and PNGC Power, as well as roles in government affairs and legislation with Portland General Electric, the Oregon House of Representatives, the U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee, and U.S. Senator Mark O. Hatfield. Scott holds a JD from the University of Washington School of Law and a BA in Government and Psychology from Dartmouth College.
