Edelena Smith Butler

Edelena Smith Butler serves as Accounts Manager II for the Coastal Region at the American Red Cross since October 2024, specializing in the development and implementation of strategies for blood drive sponsorship and scheduling. As Chief Creative Officer at Unforgettable Events since August 2018, and in previous roles including Outreach Engagement Manager at Montage Marketing Group and Public Education Coordinator at We Are Sharing Hope SC, Edelena has demonstrated leadership in community engagement and program advocacy. Prior experience includes Site Coordinator at Communities In Schools of the Charleston Area and Guest Care Supervisor at Courtyard by Marriott, coupled with a background in case management at Charleston County Human Service Commission. Edelena holds a Master’s Degree in Management and Leadership & Human Resources Management from Webster University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Shaw University, complemented by additional education at Stellenbosch University’s School of Public Leadership.
