Mike Zarpak

Mike Zarpak, CISSP, serves as the Principal of Information Systems Security at the American Red Cross since August 2020, where responsibilities include acting as a security advisor for governance and developing information security training material. Previously, Mike worked at Prometic from July 2014 to December 2020, first as an Information Security Manager, establishing a corporate-wide information security management program, and then as a Network Administrator, focusing on the security and stability of network systems. Mike's career also includes a long tenure at LANPerfect Corporation, where responsibilities ranged from managing customer support teams to serving as a Network Engineer. Early career experience includes an internship at the National Institute of Health, creating a webpage for the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute. Mike holds both a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University.
