Dr. Boris Kurscheid

Dr. Boris Kurscheid's work experience includes serving as the Director of Quality Assurance & Laboratory at RENOLIT since July 2022. In this role, they oversee four direct reports and seven teams with a total of 41 team members. Prior to this, they worked at FUCHS Germany, where they held various roles such as Head of R&D Team 2, QC, and Test Field from August 2019 to June 2022, and Development Chemist from June 2013 to December 2017. At FUCHS Germany, Dr. Kurscheid was responsible for formulating warm and hot forging lubricants and managing projects related to these products. Dr. Boris also worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Bielefeld University from September 2011 to November 2012, conducting project work on ionic liquids and synthesizing perfluoroalkylsilicon compounds.

Dr. Boris Kurscheid's education history demonstrates a strong background in chemistry. From 2000 to 2007, they pursued their undergraduate studies at the University of Cologne, where they obtained a Diplom degree in Chemistry. Following this, they went on to further their expertise by pursuing a Ph.D. at Bielefeld University, specializing in Chemistry from 2007 to 2011.
