Donald Bertolo

Donald Bertolo serves as the Elementary School Principal at the American School Foundation of Monterrey since July 2023. Prior to this role, Donald held the position of Primary Principal at Colegio Nueva Granada from July 2019 to July 2023 and was a Principal at Oakland Unified School District from July 2015 to July 2019. Earlier experience includes serving as Assistant Principal at Adams14 School District from July 2012 to June 2015 and at Denver Public Schools from January 2009 to June 2012. Donald's career began in education as a Classroom Teacher at Poudre School District from June 2005 to December 2008 and at School City of Hammond from June 2000 to August 2005. Additionally, Donald was an Anatomy and Physiology Lab Instructor at Indiana University Northwest from June 1991 to August 2002. Donald holds a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Purdue University Northwest and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Purdue University.
