Melanie Henning

Melanie Henning is an experienced educator currently serving as the Assistant Principal of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment at the American School Foundation of Monterrey since August 2021. Prior to this role, Melanie worked as an Instructional Coach at the same institution from August 2012 to June 2021 and taught English and Media Studies for grades 9 through 11 from August 2006 to June 2009. Melanie began their teaching career at Instituto San Roberto, where English and Critical Thinking were taught to 9th graders from August 2002 to June 2006, and previously at Trenton High School, instructing English and Drama from May 2000 to June 2002. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in International Education from Framingham State University and a Bachelor of Arts in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from Lakehead University.
