Ken Pflumm

Ken Pflumm's work experience includes several leadership roles in the healthcare industry. Ken currently serves as the Regional Vice President of Operations at American Senior Communities since 2023. Prior to this, they were the Chief Operating Officer at Assurance Health System from 2021 to 2023. From 2017 to 2021, Ken worked as the Regional Director of Operations at Infinity Health Care Management, where they provided leadership to 11 skilled nursing facilities. Ken also held the position of Regional Vice President at American Senior Communities from 2014 to 2017, overseeing 23 skilled nursing facilities. Before that, they served as a Regional Vice President at Life Care Centers of America from 2012 to 2014, supervising seven skilled nursing facilities. Ken's earlier experience includes roles as an Executive Director at American Senior Communities, Administrator at Miller's Health Systems, and Dietary Manager at American Senior Communities. Ken began their career as a Restaurant and Banquet Manager at University Place Hotel.

Ken Pflumm completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government at Indiana University Bloomington from 1989 to 1994. Ken later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Health/Health Care Administration/Management at Indiana Wesleyan University from 2012 to 2014. In 2001 to 2002, Ken obtained a CDM certification from J. Everet Light. Additionally, they received a HFA certification from ISDH in January 2006.
