Angela Phelps

Angela Phelps is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in phlebotomy and medical laboratory assistance. At Owensboro Health, Angela has held various roles since February 2013, including Manager of Phlebotomy, Phlebotomy Supervisor II, and Phlebotomist, while also serving as a Training Specialist. Additionally, Angela has been involved with the American Society for Clinical Pathology since 2016, contributing as a Medical Laboratory Assistant and Certified Phlebotomist. As a Certified Allied Health Instructor for the American Medical Technologists since 2020 and a Certified Medical Assistant for the American Association of Medical Assistants since 2019, Angela demonstrates a commitment to education and professional development. Angela previously owned a business, Angela's Embroidery & Screen Printing, from 1998 to 2018, and worked in sales at Vincents Frame World from 1992 to 1998. Currently, Angela is pursuing further education at the University of Louisville while holding an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Allied Health and Medical Assisting Services from Owensboro Community and Technical College.
